Newry City Special Olympics

Newry City Special Olympics, coached by Jonathon Carroll and Jim Fox, are dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities to become physically fit, productive and respected members of society through sports training and competition.

At Newry City, our Special Olympics team offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round training and competition.  Football is considered the worlds most popular sport for children and adults around the world.  Our athletes are able to improve their overall physical fitness through training and competition.

The team currently train at Newry Sports Centre but will be moving to the new 3G facilities at the Showgrounds.
