Mascot Competition!

Colleagues, folks, friends & fans!!!

Hi there, the Club are creating an official Club mascot, proudly sponsored by McKeowns Solicitors. If you have any children, have family or friends with children or indeed if you are yourself under the age of 16, you can enter the competition to design and name a Club mascot for Newry City F.C. similar to the one shown below & designed by Cody Long of Castledawson, Co. Antrim.

The competition prize is a weekend break for a family of up to 5 in a luxury hotel in the ROI, and second prize is a family season ticket, for up to 5, in our soon to bee constructed, 'Family Stand', (due for completion March 2010, ticket will be for the remainder of this season 2009/10 & the full season 2010/11) and is open to all, providing of course you/they are 16 years of age or under on the 31st of December 2009.

The competition calls for a drawing AND a name for the mascot, the winner however will get picked on the design, & not the design/name, thus if we like an alternative name the second prize of season tickets will be awarded, if the winning design AND name is chosen, then the second prize goes to the next best design entry we receive. Already we have had dozens of entries. Keep a look out for info in the programme, online & in the local press for further details...
